On 23 April 2026, the Nigerian College of Aviation Technology (NCAT), led by Rector/Chief Executive Dr. Danjuma Adamu Ismaila, conducted an official visit to the Banjul Accord Group Aviation Safety Oversight Organisation (BAGASOO) Secretariat in Abuja, where the delegation was received by BAGASOO’s Executive Director, Eng. Jailza Soraya Rodrigues Silva.
The engagement focused on advancing institutional cooperation in line with regional safety oversight priorities and capacity development needs.
The meeting concluded with alignment on concrete steps toward:
– Advancing targeted capacity development
– Building stronger safety oversight systems
– Ensuring full alignment with ICAO SARPs across the BAG region
This collaboration marks a significant stride toward capacity building in the Banjul Accord Group (BAG) Region.
